Research
1. Electronic Plastics and Elastomers
Lab
Electronics has been broadly applied in daily industry. Our group applied hybrid polymers for new and functional polymeric materials in modern electronics. We target on plastics or elastomers with excellent mechanical performance for electronic materials. Electronic materials from plastics and elastomers with hybrid metals (such as liquid metals) are major topics.
2. Thermoplastic Materials
Thermoplastics are broadly applied in the daily products, such as packaging, medical device and engineering component. In our group, we will investigate thermoplastics from architectured copolymers, including their mechanical, rheological and phase behaviors, to design new types of thermoplastics.
