Research
1. Hybrid Polymers
Lab
Hybrid polymers are new and functional polymeric materials, which have normal polymeric architectures with hybrid elements in side-chain or backbone of polymers. Hybrid polymers not only have the processability of normal polymers, but also retain the functionalities of hybrid elements.
2. Thermoplastic Materials
Thermoplastics are broadly applied in the daily products, such as packaging, medical device and engineering component. In our group, we will investigate thermoplastics from architectured copolymers, including their mechanical, rheological and phase behaviors, to design new types of thermoplastics.
